Installing Plugins

Controlling PluginsThe I-Metrics CMS is bundled with a number of extensions also called plugins to enhance or extend, focus and bind the functionality of a website with the content and features deployed according to site owner preferences. The plugins manager is accessible from your administrator visible under the section called Plugins.

Plugins can be installed, configured, uninstalled, decompressed or totally removed from your site. A number of switches and buttons are available for each of the plugins along with the information of the capabilities and features, revision of the I-Metrics CMS the plugin requires and the plugin version itself. Typically a readme.txt file accompanies each plugin offering a brief description of its functionality.

To install an uncompressed  plugin click the plus icon. The uninstall a plugin click the minus icon. To configure a plugin click the mechanical icon. To remove a plugin and all its dependencies from your site click the red cross icon. This last operation is irreversible, the system will delete all the files associated with the plugin.
