Editing a Group of Pages

This simple tutorial explains how to edit the a group of text pages and understanding the basic properties of collections. Adding new pages, deleting existing pages, changing the alternative titles of pages as well as assigning an order to the pages of a group. Note the delete or add operations, do not affect the content of the actual text pages. They only changeĀ  associations of text pages within collections and content groups nothing more.

First of all here are the steps to edit the properties of a group

1. Goto your admin->Abstract Zones->Abstract Controller

2. Select the content collection to edit by click the row or information icon on the right once.

3. On the right hand side click edit to edit the collection or group.

4. Change the name or description content of the group

Now you will learn how to change the binding of text pages inside groups.

1. Goto your admin->Abstract Zones->Abstract Controller.

2. Select the zone you want click the folder icon or select the zone and click the details button on the right hand-side.

3. You should now be in the text pages level where you see a list of the pages already assigned to the group.

4. To remove a text page from the group/zone tick the checkbox on the left of the text page. Then hit the delete button.

5. To change the binding text for the text page, change the alternative text then tick the checkbox on the left and hit update at the bottom of the screen.

6. To insert new pages into the group click the entries button at the bottom of the screen then check the entries you want to insert and click the insert button.

7. A quick edit link is available under each page title. So under the title column you could click the text page you want to edit and the system will redirect to the text page edit facility.
